Through lively discussions and expert speakers, CHF explores super cool, forward thinking topics including blockchain for art, digital placemaking, creative use of 3D printing, and augmented and virtual reality (VR). Cutting-edge technology isn’t merely next-generation or emerging, it’s already here, and it’s fundamentally shaping the creative economy. So whether you are an artist or other art industry professional, you’ll want these opportunities and this information to make effective decisions in the coming months and years.
Structure:
The Conference is a ten week initiative that includes a mix of live talks, recorded interviews, workshops and labs in order to foster growth, learning, and networking among professionals around art + tech. Weeks 4 & 5 are intensive, and feature core art-business training targeted specifically to artists and open to all—there are events daily from 11 AM Eastern through the afternoon. Weeks 1-3 and 6-10 have opt-in biweekly panels, discussions, and presentations that are live but available for viewing at the participants’ convenience. It finalizes with additional in person special events in Santa Fe, NM with Dent the Future.
