A great way to start your career as a video producer is to get really good at telling high quality videos from low quality videos. And the good news is that YouTube offers millions of both! Here’s a fun activity to try:

STEP 1: Go to YouTube.

STEP 2: Find 5 high quality videos. For each, name at least 3 reasons why it is HIGH quality.

STEP 3: Find 5 low quality videos. For each, name at least 3 reasons why it is LOW quality.

STEP 4: Now put it all together! Create a ‘How to Make a High Quality Video Checklist’.

STEP 5: Refer to this checklist whenever you create a video, and share in the Student Showcase to build your resume!
