One of the coolest things about AI is that it can take our creative ideas and make them reality, almost instantly! In this activity you will practice using and researching a ‘generative AI tool’ – in other words, an AI powered software that can create things (generate) for you. Here’s what to do:
STEP 1: Open this generative AI tool. Experiment with the boxes and options at the bottom of the screen to create a world. Type in your ideas and watch as it creates an AI powered 3D image exactly as you say!
STEP 2: Now for a little bit of research:
How close was the ‘world’ to what you typed/had in mind?
What do you like about this tool?
What could be improved?
STEP 3: Use the ‘remix’ option to change your world in three ways. Try different colors, shapes, template, etc. Click ‘add’ to incorporate these three new elements into your world.
STEP 4: Another round of research! Click the ‘download’ options and add the image of your finalized world in the Student Showcase to build your resume as an AI Researcher! In your post also include your thoughts on how a technology like this can be used to help people.
